The PLA 90 from Williams Sound is a Portable Induction Loop that has been designed for use with T-Coil equipped hearing aids. This device is simple to use, easy to setup, and has a minimal footprint on counter or desktop and meets ADA accessibility requirements.

How it Works

The PLA 90 installs simply on a counter top, desktop, information desk, store counter or anywhere a customer/student needs to hear what is being said. The counter loop systems then picks up a persons voice from the rear integrated microphone (external microphone can be used as well) and transmits the speaker's words directly to a listener's T-Coil equipped hearing aid with extreme clarity. The listener can pick up the audio from the speaker when they are within 4 feet of the counter loop system, while at the same time reducing unwanted background noises. This technology gives T-Coil equipped users the ability to better share in conversations, or have more private conversations, such as at a doctors office, while maintaining moderate voice levels.
